Event Labor and Delivery Driver

Our party and wedding rental service has one opening for a Lead Delivery Driver!

The right candidate will enjoy an active day of delivering equipment to event sites, and assisting in the set up and tear down of some events. You'll be part of a team bringing a smile to our couples' faces as you assist with tent set ups, help with chair layouts, or work as a team to bring a party lounge to life. Most jobs are in the immediate South Central Pennsylvania area, but occasional longer distance events do happen. You'll work as a member of our very small family owned team, where we will value your contribution and help you grow your career. Our company is young and blossoming, we want a candidate who wants to grow with us! This position begins as part time seasonal with advancement opportunities as we grow.

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading basic event equipment, including but not limited to tables, chairs, tents, lounge furniture, decorations, dance flooring etc. Set up required for some items.
• Driving a truck pulling a trailer to event sites (no CDL needed), and working either alone or together with a crew to unload the truck at the event site or at our warehouse.
• Working as part of a team to install and remove party tents, assist with the set up wedding ceremonies and receptions
• Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, hours may vary by day. Ability to be available for rotating and occasional weekend work preferred.

Qualifications:

• Must have valid PA drivers license and clean driving history
• Experience driving a truck or van pulling a trailer strongly preferred. Can train the right candidate. Must be able to pass a safety test demonstrating ability to back up a truck and trailer.
• Ability to individually lift 50 lbs, and team lift up to 100 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills when speaking with our clients.
• Some evenings and weekends will be required. Day time hours can be discussed.
• Must be comfortable working outside in the elements

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
