Attendant Care Staff in Plano, TX

We serve individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The ideal candidate would have direct care experience, and be dependable, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.

This position is responsible for assisting people served in the Special Needs Community with various aspects of activities of daily living, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This position is also responsible for the health, safety and emotional support of the people being served, and documenting the services and supports provided. Some duties may include assistance with:

• meal preparation and monitoring
• dispensing medications in a timely manner
• helping clients bathe, eat, dress, etc.
• supervising recreational activities
• do necessary housecleaning to maintain a clean environment
• providing transportation
• communicating with family, medical team, and office staff
• documentation and effective communication

On-the-job training is provided.

Must pass criminal background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
