Job Summary
Certified Early Childhood Special Educator needed to provide home visits for Pierce County Early Intervention Program in WA state. Enjoy fun and rewarding work helping infants and toddlers improve developmental skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Services are provided either at home with the caregiver present or other natural environment to support the adult/child relationship via coaching while building developmental skills. Work within a multi-disciplinary team of speech, physical and occupational therapists; social work; other early childhood special educators; and infant mental health specialists. Our staff is friendly, supportive and fun! We provide services to families who live within the Bethel, Franklin Pierce, Puyallup, Orting and Eatonville school districts.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum requirements include a Washington state teaching certificate and degree in special education, early childhood education or related field. Personal attributes needed include flexibility, effective time management, efficient organizational skills, fun-loving, and enjoy working with a variety of caregivers. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Birth to three experiences preferred.
