Job Description: We are seeking a versatile "jack of all trades" Handyman who is not only proficient in traditional handyman skills but also adept with technology, such as digital setups and app-based tools. This role is crucial for ensuring properties are meticulously assessed, set up, and maintained, aligning with our commitment to offer top-notch living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Assessment:

• Utilize mobile apps to measure room dimensions and evaluate conditions of paint, flooring, landscaping, and fencing.
• Identify necessary repairs and provide detailed estimates of labor hours and costs.

Property Setup:

• Install and configure digital locks and surveillance cameras.
• Assemble and arrange new furniture, hang curtains, and mount TVs.
• Manage the receipt and inventory of furnishings and equipment.
• Coordinate and oversee furniture and appliance deliveries, including cable and Internet services.
• Ensure all packing materials and debris are removed following setup.

Ongoing Maintenance and Upkeep:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Address urgent repairs and maintenance needs as required.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards are maintained.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with general and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Strong understanding of technology, including the ability to install and manage digital and Wi-Fi-connected devices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Professional demeanor for interacting with guests, contractors, and team members.
• Availability for a flexible schedule during daytime business hours, including a rotating on-call basis for emergencies.
• References will be required, and a full background check will be conducted.

Please note:

This is a part-time role as a contractor - this is not an employee position. The work varies based on our need and when issues come up with houses. However, we are expecting a steady pipeline of new houses coming in which could keep someone busy. We can be flexible with most scheduling, but it is required that you be quickly available for emergency issues.
