THE POSITION

The National Account Executive is directly responsible for A Place for Mom’s corporate home care relationships with national and regional home care organizations. The primary goal of the position is to drive significant revenue growth within our external customers. This position is responsible for delivering the results through the sharing of performance data, frequent corporate- and regional-level contact, the creation and successful roll out of customer-facing programs, and ongoing customer education. The position holds the keys to ensuring our customer relationships are excellent by promoting positive outcomes and monitoring programs that drive successful results to our customers.

You will work closely with Director of Sales Strategy & Account Management, driving top down penetration of large home care franchisors in conjunction with the Acquisition and Customer Success team’s efforts to add and engage individual agencies. This is a highly impactful role, offering the opportunity to drive step change growth of the Home Care division as a core priority for the company.

You will report to and work closely with the VP of Home Care to have a material impact on delivering the growth strategy for the division.

Job Description


What you will do:

  • Understand the overall vision for the home care division, positioning of our offerings, and 3-5 year roadmap to sell long term engagements to current and new home care customer organizations
  • Build strong relationships with C-level, Divisional, and Regional players at existing organizations to increase engagement and customer satisfaction, maximize the number of locations in the A Place for Mom network, and drive adoption of new programs
  • Manage the sales cycle for new customers from prospecting, discovery, solution proposal, presentation, negotiating and closing. Work with the VP of Partnerships and VP of Home Care where needed to close each deal
  • Attend tradeshows and customer conferences, utilizing this time to set appointments in advance to meet with customers and review their results with APFM referrals
  • Define and own the account management cadence. Track and communicate each customers' performance results on a monthly and quarterly basis to secure network wide agreements at the corporate level
  • Partner with the Director of Sales Strategy, Home Care Acquisition Team, and Customer Success team to identify new opportunities and ensure a coordinated sales and support effort across all levels of a given organization
  • Work with Business Insights and Analytics team to assess potential value to a given organization and conduct the analyses necessary to support the sales efforts
  • Ensure no loss of current APFM customers
  • Forecast contribution to sales funnel and manage sales activity in CRM
Qualifications


Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum experience of 3-5 years selling into franchise organizations with demonstrated success, preferably in health care
  • Ability to develop necessary sales materials to support and drive targets to action
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to convert executives into advocates
  • Self-motivated, driven to exceed your targets with track record of surpassing goals
  • Collaborative approach to sales, working effectively with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product & Technology, and Business Insights & Analytics to close the deal
  • Strong organizational skills. Capable of managing multiple ongoing initiatives with ease
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of productivity, adaptability, innovation and follow-through
  • Comfortable with data tracking, analysis and CRM tools
  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor degree required

Compensation:

  • Base Salary - $150k
  • Bonus: $75k variable bonus
