Clinic Service Representative/Driver

A Pet’s Memory Pet Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is a small family owned and operated business who provides aftercare cremation services to the majority of the local veterinary clinics, direct pet owner clients and home removal pick up services.

Our pet funeral home located in Gulfport is seeking a Clinic Service Representative/Driver, “CSR”. This position involves the respectful transport of deceased pets from veterinary/animal hospitals and residences to our facility for cremation services. The CSR has direct exposure to company client personnel and requires a courteous, respectful and professional manner at all times. The CSR will be responsible for maintaining a good relationship with our clinics and clients. Also, the CSR will be responsible for delivering supplies to our hospitals as needed, as well and maintaining our company vehicle.

We are a drug free work place; any indications of drug use will result in immediate termination. Employee may be subject to drug testing without notice! Employee will be hired on a 90 day probation period.

The employee must be able to have understanding, empathy and sympathy for the clients regarding the loss of their beloved pet. Compassion and strong attention to detail is required.

We are looking to hire a part time (31-38 hours per week) office assistant. Responsible for helping in front office area and helping in back work area and some vet/home removals. Helping with the daily operation procedures such as helping with clients and answering phones. Working on Saturday’s and rotation of being on-call required.

The attached list of the following is a brief description of job duties that are expected of the employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:

*Drive company vehicle for removal of pets and delivery of cremated remains and other supplies to a variety of locations as assigned by the office.

*Record all pick-ups and returns and handling deceased pets in a compassionate, respectful and dignified manner.

* Assure that cremation authorization form is correctly completed and signed and proper identification (toe tag) is with each pet.

*Assisting with professionally answering of telephones, assisting with any direct clients and knowledge of products.

*Ability to explain policies, procedures, prices and provide assurance.

*Assisting with the daily in-take process of the pets (weighing, fur clippings, paw prints, body bags). Also assisting with the processing of cremated remains and loading of the urns.

*Preforming basic office cleaning and other duties as assigned

*Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s vision, Mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS

*Must be a fur baby animal lover

*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

*Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs by self.

*Reliable transportation

*Reliable, punctual with trustworthiness and compassion

*Professional appearance and manners

*Ability to pass a drug test and background screening

*Valid driver license in good standing with a clean driving record with 10 years of driving experience. Must be able to show proof of cleaning driving history.

*Excellent time management and ability to exercise necessary cost control measures.

*Demonstrated history of job commitment

*Ability to work in extreme heat temperatures.

*Operation of company vehicle and pick-ups in inclement weather conditions.
