Full-Time, Part-Time Behavior Technician

Entry Level Position - Training Provided. All you need is a high school diploma, the desire to learn, and a love for kids!

*Please note that we are looking for candidates that want to make a difference in children's lives. Furthermore this position is an entry level position and we are looking to grow our team members to develop their careers in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Description: Full-time, part-time Registered Behavior Technician

ABA (applied behavior analysis) therapy takes place in several different environments; child’s home, clinic (playroom), school and community. The ABA treatment plan is designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - BCBA. The RBT provides instruction and reinforcement to enable the child to obtain and preserve skills that will allow him/her to function with greater independence in society and at home. We offer all training to meet the requirements for an RB and above average compensation. This position provides exceptional access to the field for people who are interested in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or other careers in the behavioral sciences. We are a growing company and are looking for people that are just as compassionate as us to serve children and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one on one therapy to children who are diagnosed with the autism spectrum disorder
  • Implement the treatment plan as directed by the BCBA
  • Record and graph therapy data
  • Attend monthly training's, supervision, and workshops
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism including appearance, punctuality, and communication with all stakeholders

Necessities:

  • Either possess or be able to obtain an RBT credential through the BACB. Current RBT is preferred but not required* (ANLTS provides training for candidates who do not already hold the RBT credential)
  • 2 years experience preferred.*
  • Have completed at least a high school diploma.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation
  • Must have full coverage automobile insurance
  • Pass a federal, state, and county criminal background check
  • BLS and CPR certified (must be completed in person NOT online--we offer this if needed)
  • Must be able to attend a yearly NCI training
  • Must be able to attend once a month staff training
  • Experience is strongly preferred. Training is provided
  • Full-time:
  • Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Position is Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm
  • Part-time:
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 29 hours per week. Most schedules will be either 8-12 or 12-5:30 M-F. Schedules will be made based on the needs of our clients.
