At The Mayflower, we are looking for a professional, high-energy team member with excellent communication skills to help serve our guests with incredible tasting food.
Essential Functions
· Provide customer service to external guests and internal guests, greeting guests who pass by your area
· Perform opening and closing procedures as determined by management
· Handle guest inquiries in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
· Expedite the delivery of food
· Complete side work and any other duties assigned by management
· Ensure the smooth day to day operations and cleanliness of the restaurant
· Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
· Set up and stock the food runner side stations with all items needed to efficiently deliver meals to our guests
· Service guests with all food requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner
· Ensure that the food runner workstation tables and side stands are kept stocked, tidy and clean
· Remove dirty and empty trays, dishes from the dining rooms at all times
· Cleans large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service
· Reads order tickets as they arrive and place onto ticket minder
· Delivers food to the correct table and pivot point position numbers
· Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift
· Perform other tasks as needed by chef
Work Experience Required Experience: Less than 1 year
A work permit is required if you are under the age of 18.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Standing/walking for the entire length of shift.
