A&M Facility Services is Hiring a Cleaning Specialist Near Auburn, MI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our facilities.

Duties:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors using appropriate equipment
- Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas
- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Perform other cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks

Nice-to-have Skills:
- Certification in cleaning or housekeeping techniques
- Experience with floor buffers, industrial cleaning equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
