Community Recovery Services Counselor Location : Grafton, OH

Community Recovery Services Counselor Compensation : $37.00 - $40.00 p / hr - based on licensure, certifications and experience

Community Recovery Services Counselor Hours : Monday Friday 7 : 45AM 3 : 45 PM

Note : Shift pattern is subject to change as determined by the Lab supervisor to meet needs.

What does the Community Recovery Services Counselor do?

Manages day-to-day operation of the institution recovery services program : develops & implements policies & procedures for the program;

coordinates & participates in quality assurance activities

Participates in personnel management tasks including recruitment, interviewing, training & recommendations for hire; supervises employees assigned to the recovery services program;

directs & manages treatment activities of the recovery services staff

• Provides in-service training & evaluations; monitor & record program attendance; maintains necessary data documents required
• Provides alcohol & other drug treatment services to inmates in the program (e.g., treatment planning, treatment recommendation, progress notes, individual & group counseling)
• Serves as institution representative on statewide committees for alcohol & other drug related issues;
• Attends meetings, conferences, workshops as directed; assists with public relations for programs; serves on institution committees;

performs security functions; performs other duties as assigned

Community Recovery Services Counselor Qualifications / Requirements :

Must hold current certification or credentials in one of following : - Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) byState of Ohio Counselor & Social Worker Board- Licensed Physician by State of Ohio Medical Board- Licensed Psychologist by State of Ohio Board of Psychology- Registered Nurse by Ohio Board of Nursing- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) byState of Ohio Counselor Social Worker Board- Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT)
