We are seeking a highly skilled Public Accountant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing financial guidance and expertise to our clients. Your knowledge and experience in taxation, and public accounting will be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and tax return preparation. Experience in cleaning up financial statements, preparing tax returns to include basic 1040, Schedule C & E returns, 1120S & 1065 is required. Quickbooks experience is A MUST. Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Conduct thorough audits of client financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

- Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies and assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities

- Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries to maintain accurate financial records

- Assist clients in budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making

- Collaborate with clients to develop effective internal control systems and improve overall financial processes

- Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development

- Utilize QuickBooks or other accounting software to manage client accounts effectively

- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting

- Experience in preparing 1040, 1065 & 1120S returns is required.

- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms

- Experience working in public accounting, preferably with exposure to various industries

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data

- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision

- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members
