A Homely Care LLC is Hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - PART-TIME @ HCP Near Cranston, RI

Job Summary:

A Homely Care is currently seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a Part-Time basis in Rhode Island. The RN will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional and personalized care to our clients while adhering to Rhode Island state regulations. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is detail-oriented and capable of working independently. Please note that the RN will specifically be assigned to non-skilled tasks, ensuring the provision of quality care in various non-clinical aspects of our clients' well-being.


Primary Responsibilities:

Client Care Record Management:

  • Oversee the accurate and confidential management of client care records.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory documentation requirements.

Policies and Procedures Development and Enforcement:

  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures aligning with industry standards and legal requirements.

Reporting and Recommendation Provision to the Administrator:

  • Provide regular reports on the Nursing Services department's performance.
  • Offer recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

Effective Communication of Client Care Needs to Management:

  • Collaborate with management to address client care needs and ensure alignment with agency goals.

Committee Participation:

  • Actively participate in designated committees to contribute to the agency's growth and development.

Assessment of Staffing Needs and Recruitment:

  • Assess staffing requirements and actively participate in the recruitment of nursing personnel.
  • Manage hiring and training of new clinical employees, including CNAs, homemakers, and Nurses.

Scheduling and Task Assignments:

  • Coordinate schedules and task assignments for the nursing team, including field visits to evaluate nurse performance and address scheduling issues.

Client Assessments and Care Plans:

  • Conduct client assessments and develop personalized care plans when an RN is not available.

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with board members to develop, implement, and update agency policies and procedures to stay compliant with all federal, state, and local laws.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments following physician prescriptions.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and reactions to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing nursing care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.


Education, Qualifications, and Credentials:

  • Valid Rhode Island RN license.
  • Minimum of One (1) year of nursing experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of current healthcare practices and regulations.
  • Language Proficiency: While not a strict requirement, multilingual capabilities, such as proficiency in Spanish and English, are valued.
  • Must possess previous experience working for a home care agency that provides Personal Care Aide services.
