Job Summary:

As a Drill Rig Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be working with FOUNDATION DRILL RIGS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT.Equipment used in deep foundation drilling to inspect, repair, and maintain them with minimal downtime. You must have sufficient industry knowledge to independently troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the operation of machinery and equipment by completing routine preventive maintenance on engines, motors, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and mechanical systems.
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information on work orders.·
• Complete shop-related duties as needed.
• Read and comprehend technical publications and schematics.
• Inspect, repair, remove, and replace defective or damaged parts using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools.

Qualifications:

• Mechanic must have their own tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid insurance.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Knowledge of equipment with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Working Environments:

• Outdoor environments with prolonged exposure to weather conditions.
• Equipment yards with open shops, no air conditioning.
• Elevated positions while working on various equipment.

Compensation:

• Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications, hourly-based, and disbursed weekly.
