Position Summary:
The Manoogian School is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and innovative K-12 Armenian Language teacher (Western Armenian). The successful candidate is intrinsically motivated to see the familiar in new ways and has a passion for work in the classroom. Collaboration within a dynamic K-12 grade school, creation of powerful learning experiences for the student body, commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of adolescents through interpersonal relationships, utilization of extensive school resources, setting a positive tone, and treating students as individuals within the context of a broader community, are all critical components of this position.
This full-time member of the K-12 School faculty teaches five sections of Elementary, Middle School, and High School Armenian classes, electives, and contributes to an extracurricular program such as Student Council or Robotics to name a few options. Additionally, it is understood that the successful candidate has a demonstrated commitment to work in a diverse and inclusive community.
