A Future Goals Inc is a non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team.

Position Summary:
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the supervision of individuals in a day program setting and for the supervision of other staff members and volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and assistance to clients in a program setting, including activities of daily living (ADLs) and leisure activities
• Provide direct care and assistance to clients in the healthcare field, including, but not limited to, activities of daily living skills training and medication administration
• Provide direct care and assistance to clients in the healthcare field, including, but not limited to, activities of daily living skills training and medication administration
• Provide direct care and assistance to clients in the healthcare field, including, but not limited to, social skills training and ADLs
• Provide direct care and assistance to clients in the healthcare field, including, but not limited to, ventilate care, ambulation skills training and self-administration of medications
• Conduct intake processes for new arrivals or changes in schedule
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:
The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience working with individuals with severe developmental disabilities is preferred. The Direct Support Professional will work on a full-time basis. The position requires flexibility in schedule and ability to work weekends.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
