Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients. Your role will involve assisting in the implementation of treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and providing support during therapy sessions. Duties: - Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist - Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques - Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and function - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Qualifications: - Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program - Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Knowledge of occupational health and trigger point therapy is a plus We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our employees.
