A&E Plumbing Heating and Air is currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator / Sales Representative to join our team in Gresham, OR.

COMPENSATION : Monthly commissions plus $2,000 / month. Our average Commercial Estimators make anywhere between $75,000 / year to $120,000 / year!

HOURS : Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm, with some overtime required

REQUIREMENTS :

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • 10 years of commercial HVAC experience
  • 2 years of estimating experience, preferably with commercial HVAC
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of the construction process (RFI, RFP, Change Orders, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and coworkers
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be able to sit, stand, squat, and lift up to 60 lbs

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop and track a project schedule, including manpower loading for the project
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including but not limited to deadlines, subcontractors, change orders, permitting requirements, and bonds
  • Properly estimate commercial projects from blueprints to inception
  • Finding new customers (includes cold calling, identifying and asking for referrals from existing customers) resulting in service agreements, quoted repairs, and project sales.

Will also be responsible for maintaining those relationships and tending to customer needs

  • Consolidating information by collecting, organizing, and assembling data for reports, presentations, and special projects
  • Maintaining records of sales, customer information, and requests
  • Communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and other company team members
  • Contract vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for estimation of job costing
  • Establish project cost control for tracking of equipment, material, labor, tools, subcontracts, and miscellaneous cost
  • Inspect the job site on a regular basis for contract compliance, workmanship, and safety
  • Follow-up on any required warranty work
