We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to join our team as an Order Entry/Shipping/Expeditor. This multi-faceted role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes from order entry through to the shipment of final products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of information and materials, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and organization throughout all stages of production and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Entry:
• Accurately input order data into our management system.
• Maintain and update customer information and order details.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to clarify order specifications and requirements.
• Shipping:
• Prepare and package products for shipping according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Schedule shipments and arrange for transportation.
• Manage documentation such as shipping labels, bills of lading, and other related paperwork.
• Expeditor:
• Monitor the production schedule to ensure timely execution and delivery of orders.
• Coordinate between various departments to prevent any delays in production or shipping.
• Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the order fulfillment process.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in supply chain management is a plus.
• Previous experience in order entry, shipping, or production planning in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the sheet metal industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computers and typical office software (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).
