The Human Resource Consortium has been retained to conduct a search for a proven, well-rounded Chief Financial Officer, as a key member of the executive leadership team for a dynamic and rapidly growing non-profit in Central CT. The CFO will be an integral member of the executive leadership team. The visionary CEO to whom this individual will directly report, is focused on advancing excellence and relationships with funders, providers, and clients, streamlining operations, and expanding service offerings. The incoming CFO will expertly oversee accounting, manage and prioritize the allocation of fiscal resources in alignment with revenue and strategic goals, oversee budgeting and budget management, and be responsible for internal and Board financial reporting, audits, and the like. Demonstrated expertise in balancing fiscal restraint with calculated risk, and focusing on how to guide the organization to realize its strategic plan are expected. The ideal candidate is passionate about working within a non-profit, has a solid track record in managing and reporting to governmental funders, and in developing teamwork, collaboration, and trusted relationships both internally and externally.

Organizational Compliance; and
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business / Public Administration and CPA certification in lieu of Master’s Degree.
Full competence level as a finance leader for a rapid growth, nonprofit or governmental/quasi-governmental organization with proven, direct/indirect state/federal contracting experience.
