A Core Connection is looking for a qualified Individual willing to learn to join our team!

We are a Community Behavioral Health Center that offers Counseling and ABA Services to Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Flagler, Volusia and surrounding counties. We serve children, adolescents and adults ranging from two years old and up.

We currently have a need for a Referral Coordinator to help in the processing of all new referrals that we receive for services.

The duties related to this position include:·

· Checking Medicaid eligibility for incoming referrals in a timely manner

· Verifying private insurance benefits for Counseling and Behavior Analysis as appropriate

· Coordinating with funding sources regarding required initial authorizations

· Contacting families and referral sources regarding alternative funding for referrals with Medicaid ineligibility

· Following up in a timely manner with referral source when more information or a referral elsewhere is needed

· Contacting referral source to give a confirmation of referral receipt, funding problems, and notification of case assignment in a timely manner

· Contacting staff as needed regarding possible referral assignments

· Copying Primary Clinician and Licensed Assessors new client assignments in a timely manner

· Entering new referrals into Central Reach, updating information as needed

· Organizing Licensed Assessor coverage for all zip code areas

· Assisting in completion of monthly Medicaid/HK eligibility verification on the 1st of each month

· Serve as primary phone coverage as needed, answering office phone, taking referrals, assisting callers, and redirecting calls as appropriate

· Maintain scheduling for the Mental Health offices in all locations

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Experience in detail-oriented tasks
• Able to Multi-Task
• Able to pass a background check
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office a must
