Our company is seeking an experienced recruiter to service our clients in the Clarksville, TN area! This is a great full-time opportunity to work for one of the best in the nation. This individual will provide human resources services for our customers, including but not limited to, making decisions relating to the hiring, placement, discipline, payroll and termination of temporary employees placed with our clients.
Staffing Specialist Job Summary
· Typically, Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM Must be available after hours and on weekends to address and resolve the needs of temporary employees and clients
· Maintains all appropriate paperwork and documentation. Enters pertinent information into our applicant tracking system.
· Contribute to candidate database by evaluating and implementing the best methods for recruiting potential candidates. Researches, evaluates and makes recommendations as to job fairs and recruitment events and prepares print and online advertising for recruiting temporary employees
· Investigates and evaluates workers compensation matters (complete all paperwork and conduct follow-up) Acts as representative in unemployment matters to resolve and/or make recommendations. Investigates discrimination complaints to gain resolution of the matter.
· Serves as intermediary between the employees and the clients. Evaluates attendance and performance to temporary employees. Uses discretion and judgement to counsel and discipline employees related to performance issues. Investigates, resolves and documents performance, attendance, payroll, and other issue related to employees.
· Interview/screen candidates and enter applications into our applicant tracking system
· Process I-9 on all new employees
· Perform background checks and drug screening
· Recruit and manage a pool of employees that meet company and client policies
**Base pay is $16 - $18 based on experience and paid weekly.
Qualifications:
· Microsoft office and Excel & other basic computer knowledge
· Ability to work under pressure and display excellent time management skills
· Minimum of 1 year staffing or related field preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
