Altech Electronics Inc. is looking for an installation technician to join us. You will be working on long-term large-scale projects, working to take apart and install electronics into vehicles as a part of a team. If selected, you will be fully trained and prepared to work alongside our veteran staff.

Relevant candidates are those who have basic knowledge of 12v electricity (Low Voltage), those who have ever worked as a home installation tech (cable, phone, internet, etc), or those who have experience in the automotive industry. If you have what it takes, then we want you to grow and retire with us!

Duties:

  • Installing 12-volt equipment into commercial & government fleet vehicles
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain electronics and two-way radios
  • Design, build, and install custom enclosures

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of working with 12V electricity (Low Voltage)
  • Preferred automotive experience
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 60lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • Work at different job sites within NYC 5 boroughs
