A Caring Alternative, LLC is CABHA certified and a Trauma Informed Agency. We provide an array of services to Alexander, Buncombe, Burke, Catawba, Caldwell, Iredell, McDowell, and Mitchell counties which consist of Assertive Community Treatment Team, Community Support Team, Day Treatment, Integrated Care, Intensive In-Home, Medication Management, Outpatient Therapy, and Therapeutic Foster Care.

A Team Lead is responsible for overall supervision of individuals on their team; ensuring quality services are delivered and that staff adheres to documentation requirements. Ensure that day to day operations of their program are in order. Hours are most typically school hours with flexibility around completing paperwork.
Job Duties Include
- Coordinate service learning for their programs and send lesson plans to manager
- Initiate and complete orientations with new families
- Show knowledge and use of clinical process to achieve positive outcomes to include: evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, intervention techniques, aftercare, and transition planning
- Communicate with school staff and supervisor when crisis occur, ensure crisis plans are followed
- Partner with the clinician to ensure clinical appropriate interventions are implemented for the kids in program. Ensure all documentation completion including SIR’s and client authorizations. Ensure due dates are maintained with client related documentation: notes, Incident Reports, NCTOPPS, PCPs and authorizations.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or other closely related Human Services area
- Two (2) years of professional experience with the child mental health population
