Overview

• Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Systems Integration Test Engineer with experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. The candidates must have the ability to work on-site at Offutt Air Force base near Omaha, NE.
• Must be a US Citizen and have Active Top Secret Clearance.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of specialists that design and develop test strategies on cutting-edge technology responsible for supporting the responsive and innovative Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) Systems, data, and artificial intelligence (AI).
• implement, measure impact and report on the quality assurance activities for both new and upgraded software to be used across the Commands Enterprise system and working alongside our System Engineering and Operations teams.
• Analyze and integrate software/applications and infrastructure changes for the strategic enterprise systems.
• Develop your subject matter expertise on a variety of testing methodologies relevant to our strategic environment.
• Design and gain approval of testing activities across multiple products, ensuring the successful execution of test strategies, plans and schedules.
• Track and report on issues, processes, and testing procedures and proactively seek opportunities to simplify and automate existing processes.
• Identify test design and implementation methodologies, participate in pilot projects to measure their impact, and solicit feedback within the engineering teams.
• Systems Integration & Testing Engineer Technical Specialist will also be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Able to plan, support and lead test readiness reviews, formal system verification of the system requirements and final test reports.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in documentation, testing and efficient use of resources.
• Utilize basic administration and configuration of VMware and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems in order to resolve configuration issues and integrate VMware/RHEL systems.
• Up to 10% travel may be required based on customer needs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience with software development methodologies and lifecycles; specifications and testing.
• 1-2 years of Systems Integration and Test Engineering experience (with BS/BA)
• Ability to develop and document test plans, detailed test procedures, test reports, test activities and transition plans.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Good customer teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, critical thinking, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and ability to lead technical forums is a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Have Active Top Secret Clearance.
