Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. If you have a love for working with children and are committed to their development, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a structured learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in your care
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers to maintain a cohesive and engaging classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Experience working with students with special needs is a plus
- Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
-Pass a criminal history amd background check
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
