Company Description A Better Tomorrow Therapy is a pediatric home health agency located in Phoenix, AZ. We provide speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and feeding therapy to children aged 3-21 who have been diagnosed with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, and Intellectual Disabilities. We are contracted with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and accept both private insurance and cash payments from clients. Our treatment approach is person-centered, and we prioritize the appreciation and appropriate compensation of our therapists so that we can continue to serve the state of Arizona. Role Description A Better Tomorrow Therapy is actively looking for Therapy Assistants to become part of our team. We have openings for Physical Therapist Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants, and Occupational Therapist Assistants. As a Therapy Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide essential support to our team of Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists. Under the guidance of the therapists, you will play a vital role in implementing treatment plans and maintaining accurate records of patient progress. Additionally, your duties extend to the careful management of therapy equipment, ensuring its cleanliness and proper functionality. Observing and reporting any changes in patients' conditions, along with handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing therapists' calendars, are integral components of your responsibilities. Key Details for the Chosen Candidate to Note: We are actively recruiting Therapist Assistants for a 1099 independent contractor position to serve patients across the state of Arizona. We will collaborate with the Therapist Assistant to connect them with patients in their local vicinity, and we are flexible in tailoring the caseload to their comfort level. The selected candidate must be prepared to travel to the patients' residences and deliver high-quality service. It is the responsibility of the selected candidate to arrange transportation to and from the appointments. Qualifications
Experience in providing patient care and home care
Ability to manage appointments, documentation, and record-keeping
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of developmental disabilities and interventions
Experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, or Occupational Therapist Assistant
Article 9 training
CPR Certified
AHCCCS ID Current or willing to obtain one.
