We produce all of our printed apparel in our Main factory in Michigan & with 172,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 250 employees. We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non profits, retailers, and Universities through our 44 store and office locations across the United States. Additionally we help brands and licensors sell online both through company branded and marketplace websites.

This could be a great opportunity to start your career as a Graphic Artist! We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Graphic Artist to join our art team.

As a Production Artist, you will be exposed to all aspects of our art department with great potential for advancement!

This position is a full-time, entry level position! UGP offers a set schedule with optional overtime opportunities available! Hours will be Monday - Friday 7a to 3p, with a hybrid schedule.

Job Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Use Adobe Illustrator to create and modify vector artwork. Use Adobe Photoshop to create and modify rasterized artwork.
• Prepare print ready files for screen printing purposes.
• Create proofs for customers.
• Communicate efficiently with fellow team members to resolve art issues and respond to urgent art requests.
• Understand and follow the designated order of project priorities.
• Be proactive in continuously developing your skills and the department processes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop CC.
• Associate's degree required - Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Equipment preferred, but not required: Personal computer with access to Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
