A-1 Mechanical & Electric is Hiring a Lead HVAC Installer Near Las Vegas, NV
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing and retrofitting HVAC systems and components, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and thermostats in residential and light commercial properties
- Installation of package units, condensers, coils, furnaces, high-efficiency air filters, air scrubbers, and indoor air quality systems
- Installation of commercial rooftop units anywhere from 2-ton to 20-ton
- Fabricating equipment and parts to meet any special needs
- Install flexible ducting, supply registers, and return grills
- Plan and coordinate installation projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement, to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Conducting site surveys to determine the best approach to the installation of HVAC systems
- Performing tests to ensure that proper installation of HVAC systems is complete
- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise during the installation
- Providing training and guidance to junior installers
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the installation team
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout the installation process
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline project workflows and resolve any issues that may arise
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques
- EPA Universal certification
- Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC installation and retrofitting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- On Call availability
