JOB TITLE : Franchise Business Coach

DEPARTMENT: Operations Department

LOCATION : Simpsonville, South Carolina

REPORTS TO : Senior Director of Franchise Operations

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Salaried, exempt

POSITION PURPOSE

This role is responsible for working closely with Franchise Owners to support operational success and economic improvement of the Franchise. The Franchise Business Coach is responsible for communicating, training, developing, and ensuring compliance with their respective Franchise Owners, while offering ongoing operational support. The successful Franchise Business Coach will communicate strategic goals and act as a business advisor to the Franchise Owner, providing support in daily activities and overall business strategy to support the success of the 9Round brand long-term.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Personally represent 9Round Core Values, Core Purpose, and Brand Operating Standards.
• Responsible for conducting regular business reviews with Franchise Owners and driving engagement.
• Must be able to hold Owners accountable for designated tasks and help keep Owners on track to achieve company goals.
• Train Owners and managers on systems and processes that best support company initiatives.
• Conduct periodic studio visits and provide on-site training and development with Franchise Owners, including developing culture and leadership skills.
• Address ongoing questions and business needs for the Owners.
• Become an expert in operations and be available to answer all questions. Training, coaching, and inspiring all locations to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Serve as liaison between store leadership, franchise ownership and corporate headquarters.
• Support franchise ownership in delivering a balanced P&L across locations, primary focus on top-line sales, productivity, and production management.
• Driving continuous performance improvement focusing on leading indicators and established key metrics.

• Occasional Travel is required.
• Commitment to exercise at least 3x week preferred.
• Performs additional duties as assigned, as this list does not reflect all the duties and responsibilities of the Franchise Business Coach.

Skills:

• In-dept knowledge of working and supporting Franchisees
• Hands on experience with developing a clear vision of how to run operations efficiently
• Working knowledge of P & L or revenue building coach experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

Experience:

• 5 years of related experience supporting franchisees, working in a franchised business, or in a field operation position.

Work Environment:

• Works primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential

Physical Demands:

• Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
• Ability to concentrate with various interruptions, weather conditions, and noise levels
• Must be able to talk, hear, use hands, fingers, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Must be able to stand and walk 50% of the time
• Occasionally will be expected to lift boxes not to exceed 30 pounds
