95 Percent Group Inc. is Hiring a Systems Administrator Near Lincolnshire, IL

 

The Systems Administrator will be responsible forevaluating, implementing and maintaining software systems and platforms utilized for 95 Percent Group operations. The position will also be a primary point of contact for end user support of these systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Software systems and platforms implementation and management
    • Performsoftware system/platform implementations and base configurations
    • Implement software systems/platforms including integrations with existing cloud and on-premises infrastructure
    • Deploy software systems/platforms to technology assets including end user devices
    • Monitor and maintain software systems and platforms
      • Monitor software systems/platforms for performanceavailability, and securitymetrics
      • Actively manage software systems/platforms tomaintain alignment with identified service goals
  • Software systems and platforms support
    • Provide 1st and 2nd level tech support for company software systems/platforms including end user support and assisting end users with accessing vendor support resources where appropriate
  • Network and infrastructure management
    • Monitor and maintain network and infrastructure resources including corporate LAN/WAN, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure public cloud
  • Asset and licensing management
    • Track and manage technology assets including server, network andend user devices
    • Perform end user asset provisioning and deprovisioning as needed
    • Monitor and manage software licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements
    • Track software usage and assist in license procurement as needed
  • Data security and privacy
  1. Identifyimplement and maintain security controls to protect companysystems and data

  1. Identifyimplement and maintaindata protection measures including backup, archiving and disaster recovery

  1. Perform security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and security risks

  1. Enforce security policies and ensure alignment with the company governance, regulatory and compliance obligations

  • Other role responsibilities
  1. Identify persistent technology challenges and recommend action plans to mitigate the root causes

  1. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and procedures

  1. Perform additional technology tasks as needed

Accountabilities:

  1. Critical software systems and platforms haveavailabilityand performance that exceeds identifiedminimum service goals

  2. Software systems and platforms are implemented within project scope and timelines

  1. Software systems and platforms are actively managed to continuously improve security and actively monitored to identify security incidents

  2. End users are provided timely responses to support requests and all support requests are managed until a resolution is identified

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldrequired

  • Strong understanding of technology networking and infrastructure concepts; CCNA and/or Network certifications a plus

  • Understanding of information security concepts; Security certification preferred

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multipleconcurrent tasks

  • Strong communication skills including the ability to discuss and explaincomplex concepts to audiences with a wide range of technical knowledge

  • Understanding of project management concepts 

  • Demonstrated 2 years experience managing and supporting SaaS environments and public cloud platforms

  • Demonstrated 2 years experiencemanaging and supporting Microsoft365 and/or Google Workspace platforms

  • Demonstrated experience applying critical thinking and analysis skills to achieve successful outcomes in a corporateenvironment

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • This position is required to do a moderate to heavy level of physical work and lift up to 51 pounds

  • The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, use ladders and to reach with using arms and hands, as required to deploy and maintain technology equipment

  • The work environment is typically an office with an average noise level, however duties may require working for short periods (< 4 hours) in a data center environment with above average noise levels (< 80 dBA)

  • Local travel may be requiredinfrequently
