Thank you for considering a career at Advantus Health Partners SOLUTIONS DIRECTOR | REMOTE This position is responsible for managing the creation, stabilization, and transition of both enterprise and function-specific programs for all Advantus Health Partners (AHP) Supply Chain Solutions including, but not limited to, client engagement and execution, merger, and acquisitions (M&A) integrations, special projects, plus new program requests as needed. This position is also responsible for developing and implementing supply solution management strategies including client engagements and M&A integration, due diligence evaluation, operational standards, transition-readiness protocols, and playbooks. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for day-to-day management, strategic planning, and transition readiness for identified solutions and M&A integration projects. Works directly with AHP Operational Leaders aligned with solution offerings to ensure departments are aligned to and supporting integration, program goals, and objectives. Operationalize people, processes, and technology to ensure AHP Solutions deliver effectiveness, efficiency, and value for clients and AHP. Develops, implements, and monitors a comprehensive operational plan that progressively enhances the strategies, organizational alignment, talent, processes, and technology of AHP in support of client(s). Communicates clear system-wide goals and manages exceptions with the AHP leadership. Collaborates with AHP leadership to define, implement, and manage the M&A integration or AHP Solution program plans. Identifies and prioritizes opportunities via price benchmarking, utilization management of products and services of managed categories with stakeholders. For M&A integration projects, collaborates with leadership to achieve the lowest 'total cost of ownership' while balancing quality and service outcomes. Acquisition cost management, operational cost management, process cost management, working capital cost management and utilization management must each be analyzed and considered. Defines AHP Solutions and M&A portfolio responsibilities, priorities and goals ensuring objectives are consistent with company, division, and department goals. Provides strategic and tactical guidance for all AHP Solutions activities based on best practices within AHP, within the healthcare industry and beyond the healthcare industry. Understands the needs and requirements of internal clients and works to ensure these needs are met within the parameters of the AHP Solutions process and in line with corporate objectives. Develops communications and analyses for inclusion in executive-level presentations. Maintains and develops relationships with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, client CFOs, Hospital Administrators, Supply Chain leaders, and AHP senior leadership. Effectively communicates throughout the organization strategies and activities related to how solutions are to be managed. REQUIRED Bachelor of Science Degree Seven years’ experience in a role requiring strategic and operational focus on solutions and/or supplier management involving highly complex analysis, project management, negotiations, and the ability to work with and present to executive leadership team Three years’ experience in a role requiring subject matter expertise in supply chain management PREFERRED Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or relatable field Advantus Health Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
