DIRECTOR, HOSPITALITY SERVICES | Work From Home/Remote Position Reports to: Chief Care Delivery Officer Primary Function/General Purpose of Position The Director, Hospitality Services will act as the primary leader for hospitality services vendor relationships. They will provide direction and operational oversight related to outsourced hospitality services, such as Food & Nutrition, Environmental Services (EVS) and Transport operations. This role will align with system and market leadership to define, create, and prioritize support services efforts and outcomes to achieve required facility support, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance and financial results. This role is accountable for the operational performance of these functions through direct oversight and/or closely managed vendor partnerships. Essential Job Functions Supports the development and execution of strategy for hospitality support services and serves as the subject matter expert for the organization Establishes and hold vendors accountable to key KPIs and metrics to evaluate vendor partnership success and goal progress Ensures vendors are accountable in the support of the experience of care success across the organization Accountable for all aspects of operational oversight and ensures compliance in all processes including accuracy, consistency and timeliness Conducts regular reviews and assessments across the organization and ensures the partnership is meeting agreed upon objectives Ensures compliance with contract service levels, as well as Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, state and all other regulatory guidelines and requirements are being met Develops and directs short and long-term organization-wide plans that translate strategic goals into specific, actionable steps to improve financial and operations performance of hospitality support services Ensures there are established system productivity benchmarks, and monitors industry trends to ensure services and strategies contribute to the highest quality and patient experience levels Education Bachelors, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, Nursing or related field (required) Masters, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, Nursing or related field (preferred) Work Experience 15 years of healthcare experience, including support services leadership experience (required) 10 years of progressive management-level experience (required) Skills Budgeting & Financial Acumen Manage third party vendors Analyzing data or information Patient Experience Acumen Executive Relationship Management Healthcare support services operational skills Project Management Conflict and change management expertise Leading through influence Bon Secours Mercy Health is an equal opportunity employer.
