The Traveling Crusher Foreman will be responsible for leading and supervising a mobile crusher team and its equipment. Must be willing to travel as this team and its equipment will move to different sites every few weeks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Crusher operation, maintenance, inspection, and repairs
Organize set up, tear down and transportation of crusher and related equipment
Supervise and be a team leader amongst other crew
Proficiency in operation of support equipment
Perform all duties within safety guidelines set by MSHA and company policies
Document and track usage of equipment and production rates
Extensive Travel
Qualifications:
Applicant must be 18 years of age
Verifiable work experience as an operator or supervisor on a crusher crew
MSHA certificate or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated mechanical, troubleshooting and welding/fabrication skills
Possess and maintain a valid Class C drivers license
Fluent with basic computer skills such as excel, word and Microsoft Teams.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical ability test
Possess the ability to lead a team under pressure with strict deadlines
Ability to complete work and related tasks in adverse weather conditions
Must possess a good understanding of gradations
Must have mechanical knowledge of equipment and able to perform routine maintenance
