Overview of Role

The Retail Chief Architect in the 66degrees office of the CTO will work on strategic client engagements, delivery accelerators, tooling, and new capability demonstrations. Serve as a subject matter expert for retail industry domain knowledge to design and deliver innovative projects using leading-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Drive deep architectural discussions to build trust and rapport with clients during presales, discovery, and project execution activities.
• Construct solution proposals using Google Cloud technology with your industry expert lens. 
• Set the direction for client projects with internal technical teams to drive client outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project members to solve complex technical challenges. 

Qualifications

• Deep and strong business and technical knowledge of and expertise within the retail industry.
• Technical Consulting expertise for retail clients. 
• Strong technical knowledge of application modernization and/or edge computing.
• Broad architecture skills, covering application and data systems. 
• 5 years of experience architecting solutions in public cloud environments. 
• Proven expertise in developing solution strategies that address complex retail business objectives. 
• Cloud experience a plus, Google Cloud experience plus plus.
