TPC Sugarloaf offers 27 holes of private golf designed by Greg Norman located within the gated community of Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia. The Lead Steward opens/closes the dishwashing area and assists in the oversight of the dishwashing team. Additionally, responsible for washing dishes, utensils, pots and pans and other wares used in food production and service, properly storing them after cleanings. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent education Basic knowledge of dishwashing operational procedures as would normally be acquired through at least one year of previous similar experience RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms, and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area Help delegate kitchen area cleaning projects for Dishwashers Determine Dishwashers schedule and submit to Executive Chef for approval Maintain responsibility and perform as needed the continued preventative maintenance of all kitchen equipment Work with Clubhouse Maintenance to ensure all major repairs on kitchen equipment have been documented and submitted for approval Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems. Notify supervisor of any malfunctions Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays Special projects or other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; kneel; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
