Description

Essential Functions :

• Applies all coatings uniformly, attractively and in an efficient manner.
• Applies and repairs vinyl wall coverings.
• Installs and maintains wall protection.
• Evaluates and repairs defects in floor coverings, carpets, floor tile and floor vinyl.
• Identifies and repairs damages to walls and doors.
• Accurately calculates quantities of materials needed to complete tasks.
• Evaluates and completes daily work orders and documents all repairs and work accomplished.
• Completes requisitions for parts needed in a timely manner so that repairs are completed as rapidly as possible. Works with Departmental Policies.
• Fastens or removes various items and equipment in a facility using proper mounting or removal techniques.
• Completes monthly inspections as required for Life Safety. Checks above ceilings for code defects and makes repairs.
• All other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Required :

Certification - Driver's License - State

Preferred :

Education - High School Diploma / GED Equivalent in General Studies

Physical Requirements :

Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
