Here is what you will be doing each day:

As a Front Desk Agent, your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests upon their arrival with genuine hospitality. You'll need to maintain a positive demeanor and communicate clearly, ensuring that you understand their needs and respond promptly and accurately. This includes providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and outlet hours.

Efficiently managing the registration process is essential, involving inputting and retrieving guest information from our computer system. You'll verify details such as the number of guests and room rates, while also promoting Crescent and brand-specific marketing initiatives. Making thoughtful room assignments based on guest preferences is key, along with coding electronic keys and confirming room details nonverbally.

Additionally, you'll prepare welcome folders containing essential items like room keys, certificates, coupons, and refreshment center keys. At check-out, you'll close out guest accounts promptly. In situations where guests express dissatisfaction, your role may involve negotiating compromises, which could include authorizing revenue allowances. This position requires you to be on your feet and mobile throughout the front office area, ensuring efficient service delivery.

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $20.60 per hour; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $20.60 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
