We’ve got what you’re looking for. Job Description: Parsons Infrastructure group is looking for a Safety Director for a large project in the NY/NJ area. Specific Responsibilities: Develops, communicates, and oversees Parsons’ Environment Safety Health and Risk Program (ESHARP) Management at all project locations. Provides part time field level support as required to projects within assigned region including short term assignments, as needed. Provides assistance to sector managers regarding SH&E regulations, reporting requirements, SH&E training, and other related issues. Monitors the effectiveness of safety and health programs, conducts investigations, and complies internal reporting and recordkeeping requirements and workers compensation claim procedures within assigned region. Facilitates the collection and maintenance of SH&E related information and statistics for all business units and operations in assigned region. Ensures corporate VP SH&E and business unit SH&E Directors are aware of significant internal and external developments regarding SH&E. Assists business development personnel as required with the development and support of proposal data. Represents the company at national and international safety conferences. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
