POSITION OVERVIEW: As Sr Program Director/General Manager of the New Jersey Vehicle Inspection Program, this position provides direction and management for every phase of this significant project serving the motorists of New Jersey and representing the State Motor Vehicle Commission. The position assures ongoing operations within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations. The Sr Program Director/General Manager must be capable of managing a project or program valued up to $100 million in revenue. This position requires a strong financial management background. Prior experience must include significant project management at the program director level. Experience should also include operations management of personnel and facilities and management of employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Residence in New Jersey and a commutable distance to the Parsons office in Hamilton, NJ is required What You'll Be Doing: Managing the day-to-day operations of the NJ State Vehicle Inspection Program Interfacing with labor unions is necessary Overseeing a team of approximately 8-10 managers and 25 state vehicle locations.
