In this role you will get to help deliver bridge design projects across Florida and the US. Candidates for this role should be located in Florida within a commutable distance of one of our offices. What You'll Be Doing: Designing and detailing bridges and other transportation structures. Designing and analyzing both routine and complex structures. Assuming responsibilities as Engineer of Record. Working in a team environment to help deliver large multi-discipline transportation projects. Collaborating with other engineering disciplines including: geotechnical, civil, traffic and ITS. Collaborating with senior engineers and directing junior engineers. Communicating with clients and contractors to resolve technical issues. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering and typically 5 years of related work experience. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate or a Professional Engineer registration may be required Demonstrated proficiency with structural analysis software. Previous experience designing steel and concrete bridges. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Strong communication skills. Commitment to working in a team environment.
