As an Intern RPA Developer, you will be part of the team that the way in automation, engaging on the most strategic and complex projects and initiatives supporting Hub digital transformation delivery. The ideal candidate will be part of an Automation Team to develop and implement RPA solutions for various internal and external clients to replace existing manual workflows. The Intern RPA Developer will report into the CTO organization as part of the enterprise architecture and design team. Key Responsibilities: Set up the UIPath development environments (software installation, installation of related technologies) Configure new processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand using robotics technologies with UI Path Comply with and help to enforce design and coding standards, policies, and procedures Direct efforts to define technical, operational, and user requirements Work with structured project plans, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery manager accordingly and provide inputs to the change control process Create access control interfaces via the Application Modeler within Object Studio Participate in peer code review Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases Work collaboratively with test teams during the Product test and UAT phases to fix assigned bugs with quality Education: Must have completed junior year in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field Skills: Entry-level knowledge of robotic automation products Understanding of COTS and SaaS products such as Dynamics 365 Experience with software development, including UIPath Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Ability to grasp and understand architecture design as part of the development cycle Possesses strong communication skills with the ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences Programming and coding skills a plus with Python, .NET, NodeJS Familiarity with integrated development environments Desire to learn the business process and create process flow diagrams for call center, quote, customer engagement, broker management, producers, and carriers Competencies: Ability to learn how to estimate the time, money, and effort impact of automation alternatives Ability to apply multiple automation technical options to enable future-state business capabilities that, in turn, drive targeted business outcomes Ability to comprehend business processes and functions and capabilities of existing business workflow to support the delivery of business value to various business areas Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be respected within team and organization Characteristics: Ability to understand automation to drive and enable business value Motivated and driven by achieving long-term business outcomes Team player and collaborative Ability to see business value within technology solutions Department Information Technology Required Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience Required Travel: Negligible Required Education: Some college (no degree) HUB International Limited is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran's status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state or federal laws, rules or regulations.
