We are looking for a Weekend Detox Nurse in our La Quinta location with experience in addiction medicine. The successful candidate will provide direct client care, assess client needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. The Detox Nurse will also be responsible for providing education to clients and families about addiction treatment and recovery.

Schedule:

• Saturday, Sunday
• 8:00 am- 4:00 pm

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in a residential detox setting.
• Assess and monitor client's physical and emotional needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Provide education to clients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Document client's progress in KIPU.
• Provide support to clients during withdrawal and recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Diagnose and establish client treatment plans.
• Monitor and report changes in client symptoms or behavior.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (Residential Detox Preferred)
• Valid LVN or RN license in the state of CA
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• KIPU is a huge plus!

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
