5280 Vision Care is a locally-owned private optometric practice. We deliver excellent care, exemplary customer service, and we value work/life balance. No late-night shifts or weekends! Our goal is to care for patients like our family and friends. We have state-of-the-art technology and carry only independent frame lines. Experience as an optician or within the industry is preferred, but we will train the right person. We are looking for someone to join our team and grow with us!

Duties:

- Shop with customers to find the perfect frames
- Take accurate measurements of the patient's eyes for prescription eyewear
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain inventory of eyeglasses and other optical products
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records
- Clean and maintain optical equipment and work area
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance

Qualifications:

- Previous retail experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Crystal or other electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Knowledge of retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Understanding of medical billing processes related to optical services
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
