Job Description Job Summary: The Washington Post is looking for an experienced, skilled, and motivated Programmatic Direct Campaign Manager. Our ideal candidate should have experience planning, executing, and reporting on digital programmatic direct campaigns and delivery. They should have the ability to be vendor-facing and be able to build relationships with our programmatic partners. They should also be detail-oriented with a focus on client growth and retention. You will ultimately be responsible for all of our PMP and PG deals after they are sold and activated. You will ensure deals are running smoothly and buyer expectations are being met. You will also be responsible for deal troubleshooting and working with technical teams at both SSPs and DSPs. In addition to the execution of programmatic advertising campaigns, the role involves a combination of data analysis, creative problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction. You will be part of the Programmatic team and report to the head of programmatic revenue and operations. You are passionate about optimization, monetization, and navigating an increasingly complex advertising landscape. You want to play a key role in developing the long-term programmatic health of TWP. You are excited about using data to find creative solutions to advertising problems and applying them to the business side of journalism. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintaining and growing relationships with our sellers, agency programmatic desks, and SSPs. Client and Sales consultation to ensure the team is exceeding their expectations and performance goals. You will support client business reviews, RFPs, RFIs and be the go-to person to communicate internally any issues and concerns raised by our clients or discovered internally. Working closely with the Sales and Operations teams you will ensure onboarding of new clients is done as smoothly and efficiently as possible. As a Programmatic Direct Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of programmatic advertising campaigns utilizing our proprietary technology platform. Monitoring and analysis of reporting, and ongoing management of campaign performance, campaign delivery, and campaign profitability. Analyze data and implement optimization tactics to execute advertising campaigns based on client objectives. Develop actionable insights and make recommendations to internal Client Services team and the Yield Team. Work with Data Science team to improve performance for campaigns.
