Job Summary:
5 Star Homecare is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This part-time position will be responsible for providing overnight care to our clients in their homes. The overnight shifts will be 12 or 8 hours in duration, depending on client needs, and will begin at 8pm or 9:30pm. This individual contributor role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and make sound decisions. As a Personal Care Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by assisting with their personal care needs and providing companionship. This shift requires the caregiver to stay alert through out the entire shift.

Responsibilities:
• Provide overnight care to clients in their homes, including assistance with personal care tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and progress
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible care for clients
• Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a home care setting
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
