Shell Energy Stadium - Event Clerical/Command (CC TV)

5 STAR Event Services is looking for sharp individuals to join our security team at Shell Energy Stadium, working all games the stadium hosts! Shell Energy Stadium is home to the Houston Dash & Dynamo FC soccer teams. We offer our employees the opportunity to set their own schedules and work events that are sold out, while earning a steady income.

Our Event Clerical/Command personnel focus on supporting our Event & Personnel Managers by providing Venue Office support with time & attendance data entry, employee communication (in person, phone calls, texts, emails, etc.) employee credentials, positional and equipment deployment, CC TV operation, as well as additional job-related duties as directed.

Duties May Include but are not limited to:

• Provide administrative support to Venue Security Director, Event Managers & Supervisors, and Command staff
• Greet and direct employees to designated check-in, uniform and break room areas 
• Monitor employee check-in and check-out procedures 
• Enforce employee compliance regarding uniform and other policy requirements
• Maintain open and smooth communication with event managers, supervisors and office management
• Monitoring people via CC TV in various locations in and around the venue to identify suspicious or unusual behavior
• Liaising with Venue Management/Event Manager to provide detailed intelligence regarding incident location and physical description of those involved
• Writing concise, detailed incident reports as required

Qualifications, Requrements, & Info

Qualifications: 

• At least 18 years of age
• Must hold or obtain a DPS Level II Non-Commissioned Security License ((We offer free Level II Security training and testing!)
• Must possess reliable forms of communication and transportation
• Must possess excellent Employee Relations & Customer Service Skills
• Must possess excellent observation & critical thinking skills with the ability to respond quickly and logically in emergency situations
• Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
• Must be Outgoing, Personable and Professional

Physical Requirements:

• Must possess full mental and physical dexterity with the ability to walk, speak, stoop, kneel, crouch, hear and see clearly
• The ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time (shift duration)
• The ability to lift 25lbs.
