5 Points Electrical is one of the fastest growing electrical contracting companies in Atlanta, with opportunities for growth. We are seeking experienced fire alarm installers with extensive backgrounds in commercial work.
Job Details: Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining all Systems but not limited to Fire, Burglary, Surveillance Cameras, Digital Video Recorders, Access Control Systems, Intercom, Network Clocks, Freezer/Cooler Probes, Audio, Security/HVAC Pressure Sensors, all related cabling, and other systems as assigned. Effectively troubleshoots and repairs faulty equipment or conditions. Responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of all systems’ hardware and software.
Reporting Relationship(s): Project Managers
Work Environment: Metro Atlanta Area, may be indoors or outdoors depending on site.
Daily Tasks:
· Maintain all equipment in great condition
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Required Experience and Skills:
· At least 3 years of commercial experience
· A valid Driver’s License
· Must have a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
· Must have own tools
· Be able to pass a pre-employment drug-test
· Ability to read blueprints and schematics
· Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Commercial experience
· Computer skills in programming
· Skilled with low voltage wiring and associated devices
· NICET certification (preferred)
