Job Summary: The Cannabis Trimmer is responsible for the efficient and precise trimming of cannabis plants, ensuring high-quality preparation for the drying and curing process. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trim cannabis buds from plants, carefully removing excess leaves and stems.
• Inspect plants for pests, mold, or diseases, reporting any issues to the cultivation manager.
• Operate trimming tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Weigh, package, label, and record trimmed cannabis, adhering to state regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, sanitizing equipment and tools as required.
• Work closely with cultivation staff to understand harvest schedules and processing requirements.
• Assist with harvesting and other cultivation tasks as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a cannabis trimming role or similar position is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains and understanding of different trimming techniques.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
• Must be 21 years of age or older, as required by state law.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Skills:

• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
