Title: Database Administrator KBR is seeking to hire a Database Administrator to support USSTRATCOM/J7 Joint Exercises, Training, and Assessments Directorate enhances readiness and mission performance through joint exercises, war games, training, and assessments. J7 also leads the Lessons Learned/After Action programs, IT Test/Evaluation, Modeling/Simulations capabilities, and enables Command workforce professional development. USSTRATCOM/J7 requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) for planning, development, execution, and analysis of Command-wide training, education, professional development, and organizational development programs and processes pursuant to SI 234-04, Workforce Onboarding and Development Program. Specific Duties may include: Training Database administration, analysis, and problem solving. Provide coordination and configuration management of the training database to include education and training products associated with mission training and compliance training requirements. Train individuals and groups on their assigned training database roles and responsibilities. Manage (create, search, edit, delete) database fields and information to include: courses and offerings; registrations ; learner records; enrollments; transcripts; competencies; learning resources; development plans; certifications; catalogs, subjects and curricula; online content; continuing education; management functions and approvals; other database administrator responsibilities as required. Query and produce scheduled and ad-hoc database reports. Conduct database analysis to identify patterns, trends, outliers, and data validity to produce meaningful and actionable metrics. Identify improvement opportunities, solve problems, and overcome database limitations by developing innovative solutions. Maintain, secure, archive, and reproduce historical student and instructor transcript/records/data. Ensure standardization, and provide quality assurance of the training database application including: Provide system troubleshooting support to users and administrators; Perform quality assurance checks on content and functionality; ensure standardization of procedures and appearance; Codify system requirements and standardized procedures and maintain a cross-domain matrix for the automated assignment of supervisors. Required Education/Experience Qualifications: Have a degree and/or industry-standard certificate/license that demonstrates knowledge, skill, and ability with database administration. At least 3 years of experience as a database administrator. The combination of education and experience must demonstrate the following basic job skills: data modeling and database design, database schema creation and management, general database management, ensuring data integrity, ensuring data availability, capacity planning, and web-specific technology expertise. Must be a US Citizen Must have ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
