QualificationsGS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Screening and/or inspecting personal and commercial vehicles requesting installation access using detection devices; 2) Controlling personnel access by verifying identification/credentials; 3) Preparing reports of security incidents; and 4) Applying knowledge of current regulations and procedures to enforce compliance of all vehicles and persons entering naval installations to include contacting Security Forces when necessary. GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Controlling personnel access by verifying identification; 2) Enforcing security measures required to protect personnel, materials, and property and advising supervisor on crime prevention matters; 3) Assigning work shifts to subordinate employees; 4) Reviewing subordinate employees' work progress, ensuring objectives are met; and 5) Providing on-the-job training to new employees. This position may be subject to rotating shift work to include: call back, overtime, weekends, and holidays. Incumbent is subject to 24-hour recall notification and is required to respond per command policy. May be subject to being interrupted from meals or other work breaks while on duty.
